Really like it. Will have to learn how to make them. Great job, love the colors.

I have spent the afternoon cutting 48 background blocks and 48 30's fabric pinwheels.....WHEE!!!! Can't wait to get started.....

What a fun & bright little quilt. I especially love the way you quilted it too. Nice work Susy.

WOW that is beautiful

Thanks so much, have a word of advice, though. I read that if the middles are too bulky, hammer gently with a hammer. Oops, I noticed after I took the picture that I had pounded too hard & made a little tear in the fabric. I had to applique a little piece over it, so remember, be gentle.

This is sooooo cute!! I LOVE IT!!

So cute. I 've got to add to my list of baby quilts to make!

That is very nice.

I discovered you can use just about any size 'squares' for the base and the pinwheels do not have to go from end to end of each piece. Example: Use a 6" square for the each base part and use a 4.5" square for each section of the pinwheel. The pinwheel seems to stand out more with the bigger base squares. It is fun to work with this pattern. A friend and I have made two small charity quilts and are working on more.

That's a really precious quilt. The pattern is not only easy, and versatile for lots of themes, but gets you a lot of compliments too! :)
