What a pretty purse!

Love that purse. Love the fabrics you used. Where did you get your fabric? What brand is it? I would love to find that fabric. I just bought this pattern last weekend. Have never made a regular size bag. Is it difficult? I need to read over the pattern and give it a try. Love the color of yours. Very elegant looking. The teacher will love it.

beautiful job. My bow tuck is in a bag in my closet and has been living there for maybe three years. I move it around from time to time. Look at it and see the beautiful fabric that I started cutting for it. The i place it nice and neat back in the corner. So happy others can get this bag complete. Maybe this is a sign for me to get mine completed. Thank you for sharing.

How very thoughtful of you to make this bag for your grandson's teacher. I really like your fabric choices because they will be suitable in lots of apparel combinations.

It's quite an old fabric range called 'La Scala' by Robert Kaufman - it's made in Japan. Not sure if it's still in print. It's very easy to make. The pattern recommends fusible Pellon and it's the one I prefer - I find it both thinner and stiffer than others I've tried. Happy quilting! :)
