Way to go to both of you.For a beginner she did very well.I love her design.It is simple but very elegant and your quilting was a perfect addition.My first quilt 14 years ago was terrible and this one is remarkable.

I hope she cherishes this quilt. I look back at some of my first quilts and have learned so much, but I have a fondness for the very first with all its mistakes. It doesn't matter whether all the points are perfect or not. I want to hug her for her effort and bless you for adding your work to something of which she will be very proud!

This was not a simple quilt for a beginner and she is to be commended for attempting this pattern. Your quilting really inhanced the quilts design and made it very special.
