Rosyhf, I love your quilt. Now I am wondering if I have enough scraps to do one. Ummmmmm now to check out my stash. Your directions are very clear.

I've made so few of them - maybe two in my lifetime. I would like to do what someone else said - use 5" blocks and make this. Would it be too big? The blocks being 5"? And what about using a jelly roll? I have so many jelly rolls that I need to use up. Would one jelly roll make a quilt like this?

I believe she said, ( I was thinking ... that I might cut 5 squares every time I touch a fabric, and set them aside, til there are enough sets done for a whole quilt.), meaning 2.5 squares.
I have never bought a jelly roll so I have no idea. Since it is a scrap quilt, you can used some off each roll couldn't you and then some out of your scrap bin also.

So OKSGlad ... while you are doing your mooooooooooove and pre-cutting projects, you might as well add this one to your list, and join me! :)

Thanks for the inspiration, I love it! You have me cutting 2.5" squares now :) Will take some time before I have enough but that's ok, I still have some UFO's to work on!

No you are not going to pull me into another project. My hands are covering my ears, "I can't hear you!!" You haven't seen the now 4 hexie projects I am working on! Have to quilt and bind the first one yet.

As do I ... and I have only started one more hexie ................yet! :D

As for this one, I'm only cutting squares when I think of it ............ and stashing them in a jar. It'll be a long way off before it'll become a WIP! :D

Lol, I am going to have lots of 2.5 squares left over as I am continuously cutting and there are always leftovers. I put those in little bags for later projects or when an idea grabs me or I see something.
