Absolutely beautiful...I also would like to be added to your pattern list. I look forward to the challenge.

I bought a pattern for a very unusual but beaut. table runner that calls for a 9 deg wedge ruler. It is the oddest pattern I ever saw & will be a challenge to make. Can any of you tell me where I might find something with 9 degrees?

Pat,

Do a Google search for MARILYN DOHENY RULERS She made the 9º wedge.

I found it here: http://www.quiltcrafts.com/rulers.html#MarilynDoheny

Diane, thanks so much for sending me this site. I nearly choke when I saw how much that 9 deg wedge costs. I have to think twice about paying that much in order to make one tablerunner. Can't be made without it though. Very unusual pc.
Thanks again for your help. I figured somebody in this grp. would be able to help.

Pat,

Go ahead and buy the ruler (but check other sites too!), and when you are done with your project, sell the ruler here or on ebay.

You could also make a template and bring it to a glass company to have them cut one out of acrylic. You would have to put the markings on it yourself. I did this once, and I used the back of my desk calendar page (large white sheet) as the template to cut from (it was a wood stencil project).

I did think about that option, but I would have to have a web site (which I don't really want to mess with) and anyway the template is much too large for printing on a home printer. I will need paper copies for the LQS, and I don't want to have to deal with two different delivery options. Oh - I should mention, the LQS wants me to teach a class on the pattern. Another thing to dread...

I'm moving!!!!!
