Is it possible to make it into a downloadable PDF file then you wouldn't have to worry about the printing and folks could pay and get an instant download? At any rate, I can't wait for whichever way you decide.

I did think about that option, but I would have to have a web site (which I don't really want to mess with) and anyway the template is much too large for printing on a home printer. I will need paper copies for the LQS, and I don't want to have to deal with two different delivery options. Oh - I should mention, the LQS wants me to teach a class on the pattern. Another thing to dread...

Dunster
I've never bought a quilt pattern, but this one is calling my name!...as is the lovely one on your avatar, which I KNOW is way beyond my skill level as yet.

I LOVE it!!!

Please put me on the list to be notified when the pattern is ready for sale. Can't wait!!

I am keeping track, and that list is getting long!

I am so glad I found testers like kathy and moreland (and others who will finish soon). They told me where the problem areas were, and helped to come up with better ways to do things. Recently I also designed a paper template that makes piecing the quilt ever so much easier. Yesterday I found a printing place with huge presses that will be able to make the template, and they are located right here in Albany. It's almost ready. Just a few more finishing touches, and some decisions on how to print the rest.

Thanks to everyone who has shown interest in this pattern.

The interest is "well deserved" what a triumph for both you and your "testers"..... double-checking to be sure my name is on the list... have you considered a having a "pattern signing"?

Don't be shy, you are great and we know it, relax and enjoy the "fame and fanfare" you and your testers have earned it

skjquiltnut - your name is indeed on my list. What do you mean by a pattern signing? Is it like a book signing? I don't think the bookstores (or even the quilt stores) would pay my way, so does that mean I can come around and visit all of you and sign patterns while I'm there, eating your food and sleeping in your guest rooms? Sounds like fun to me. LOL

Put my name on the list for that pattern, too. Yup, you can visit any Sept. day, it will be 100plus, sunny days... hee-hee

 We could call it a "quilt-over!" Eat junk food and all of us sew as late as we wanted to....
