Love your elephant.

Cute! I've seen your last post with just the elephant and wasn't sure I could picture it with yellow as you described. But now I see it finished, and it's beautiful! My god-daugther loves elephants, she would be thrilled with this!

I like it! My daughter loves elephants.

That came out marvelous.

It is prettier than I imagined. I know the recipient will treasure it-I know I would.

Your elephant is super! Absolutely love the way this quilt looks. Could you tell me more about it? Was it designed by you or is it a pattern? I saw your other post where this guy was partially done but had not been put on the background yet. So it is fused or appliqued some other way? Were the gray and black fabric pieces applied to the lighter fabric and then the whole elephant appliqued to the background?
Sorry, I should have just asked if you could describe the process you went through to make this quilt. I think it would be great to do for a zoo benefit or just for the zoo itself for display. Any information about it you can supply would be so appreciated. Thanks! |
very nicely done!!!

Beautiful elephant! Nice work.

KLO--- you are right about how it was done. fused the grey to the white--then trimmed it and fused it to the background.
It was a small picture I found then had it enlarged at the library and went from there to make it. I,m glad you all liked it. It was my first elephant ever to try. |
Thats great is this your design ?
|
Great job, and a handsome fellow! ;)

What a great idea you had about using the picture you had and enlarging it. Very creative! Guess I will now be looking around for one that I might want to make like this. Thanks again for the response. It reallly is such a eye catching quilt. |
nicely done. Love the colors you used for the elephant, really stands out
