That is so cute with the various farm implements and barns mixed in with 9 patch blocks.

What? No barn quilt on any of the barns? Got to have at least one. Still, a very cute quilt!

quiltingcandy 06-21-2016 12:54 PM

Love the quilt! I am very partial to barns.

What a sweet quilt. It makes me yearn for farm life again... I'm a Farm girl stuck in the suburbs...

dinlauren 06-22-2016 04:38 AM

You have quite an eye for mixing those together....they are GREAT. You have an obviously different access to fabrics than i do in TX. I'd love to have some of that farm fabric...it is too cool.

I am an Iowa gal stuck in Florida !!! Love this quilt. Sure do miss the farm areas of the Midwest. What are your blocks??? embroidered, material, what??? This would be perfect to make for my husband. You did a wonderful job on this! What a great quilt!!

Clarice29 06-22-2016 07:23 AM

Wonderful. Good job.

twinkie 06-23-2016 02:56 AM

What a clever layout. You quilters never cease to amaze me. You did a great job.

Polly C 06-23-2016 03:59 AM

To answer posters questions: The blocks are both a panel & coordinating fabric which was 'fussy cut'. No embroidery. There were no quilts on the barns & since we got back from vacation on June 2nd & the graduation was June 20th I was under the gun to get the quilt finished on time. My DIL & son live on a farm, have a horse, dogs, cats, tractor and garden so I thought it was appropriate to her likes & lifestyle. Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
