do you live near lancaster? My FIL grew up there on a farm and my MIL spent much time there at her parent's ranch. It's a very, very, very small community there.

You must be thinking of another Lancaster. This one is in the Mojave desert NorthEast of Los Angeles. The Lancaster/Palmdale area is quite a large area. It is about 90 miles from me. I live even further out in the desert (Ridgecrest - gateway to Death Valley).

Our WalMart just "remodeled" and shrank their fabric department to about 1/4 what it was. We have two LQS in town, but the prices there are the usual $8/$9 per yard. So I will be going out of town more often now.

I loooooove that fabric. Now I'm gonna have to go find some of that for myself. Unless you want my address that is! :roll: :lol: I can't wait to make a tote like that with the tutorial that Tirinhi posted. T
