Another from the "orphan block" box

Last week I posted the 12.5" orphans, today is a mix of sizes. The sad thing is, there are still way too many blocks in that box!
(P.S. looks crocked in the pix, but just the way the camera was held.)

Jane Quilter 01-19-2018 01:55 PM

wow....that looks great. Mine would never look that good, but you are giving me the inspiration to try. Love your layout too.

Looking good!!!

momsbusy 01-20-2018 06:51 AM

Great job. It isn't easy to use orphan blocks. The ones that I have adopted and used have varied a lot in size and quality.

Mariposa 01-20-2018 06:58 AM

Great scrappy! Nice strippy design, and lots of color! :)

carolynjo 01-20-2018 08:23 AM

Since "crocked" is a quilting term, I assume you mean "crooked" in your post? Nice job of putting the orphans together.

Way to go! Thanks for sharing.

Amazing what orphans can accomplish!! Nicely done.

coopah 01-21-2018 05:11 AM

“Crocked,” to me, means “drunk.” :-) I’m assuming Judy means “crooked,” and don’t you just love spell check? It’s an attractive quilt and I’d need to be “crocked” if I put one like that together! Lots of figuring out how to make it all work together. Good work, Judy!

2manyhobbies 01-21-2018 05:23 AM

I gotta do this one of these days.

sprice 01-21-2018 06:14 AM

Great quilt--and think of the fun you had trying all those block patterns. Sometimes I see something that I just have to try. I sometimes make them in red white and blue and send them to Jane Quilter for veterans quilts or use them in Project Linus tops.

Reba'squilts 01-21-2018 06:21 AM

Looks good, makes me want to see what blocks I have lying about!

SusieQOH 01-21-2018 06:32 AM
