Here is a better view of the 54 yr old quilt hand quilted by my grandmother. It is pink on one side & blue on the other. It was used for all 5 of us children when were baptised. Being the oldest I had the honor of keeping it.

What a beautiful quilt. It is a wonderful keepsake from your grandma. Before the time of everyone knowing the sex of the unborn child, folks had to be ingenious at quilting and sewing for baby to be. What a lovely clever and talented lady and what a lucky granddaughter!

The quilt was made for my by my grandmother as I was the first grandchild on that side of the family. There are 5 of us and we were all baptised in it as well as my neices & nephews. I have it and will pass it on to my son when he has children. I had my grandmother make me another one that is green/yellow as well to pass down with my son.
