another purple and white quilt
 

I just finished this purple and white quilt top. The pattern is Blitzen by Basicgrey Moda... or at least all of those words are on the cover of the pattern.

I am very pleased with it, though I may never want to make 144 HSTs again, or at least not for awhile.

Well done! But they are big HST's! As nice as this is you will want to sew it again!

Love the pattern. I can see toddler quilt using smaller HSTs. Maybe even scrappy? Too many ideas. Not enough time....lol

Yes, purple is my favorite color. I am always happiest when I am working on a purple quilt. Thanks for liking my Christmas bears too. My husband has bought me a boy and girl Christmas bear every year since 1991. They sort of overrun our house at Christmas, but I like them a lot. I have 50. Isn't that ridiculous....

Oh, just hang on. I said the same thing when I finished my first barn raising quilt. Now I think of it as my favorite pattern and I have made 6 or 7 in different colors, scrappy and so on. I have a top ready for quilting in my projects bin in greens. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/wink.png Your purple is beautiful and looks so perfect and has a "modern" look to the old traditional pattern. Are those Santa Bears viewing your accomplishment? My kiddos used to get Santa Bears every year from Macy's. Such sweet furry friends. You have quite the collection.

That’s so pretty! One time I won 288 HST in a drawing at my quilt guild. It was fun arranging them especially since I didn’t have to make them.

I am still deciding on that. I will do it on my domestic and I really only SITD, so it will be some form of that. Right now I am getting ready to make the quilt sandwich, so I will need to make that decision soon. :)
