Just finished this quilt for my 5 year old grand niece! She gave me an idea of the colors, and then finished it off with the fleece backing! A proven winner

I always have to use fleece or Minkee on the back of my granddaughters quilt she just has to have something to rub or pick while she is falling asleep.

On this one I did use a lightweight batting.
