Very good job.

I love it and never would have guessed it was made up of "oopsies"! You came up with a great design
|
Beats me.... Can someone please tell me what "dated fabrics" really are? When ppl pay big money to use civil war fabrics, is there really any such thing as "dated"? My mother would have a fit if she heard that lol I inherited a lot of her fabrics when she went into a nursing home - I remember her frock made out of this one or that one...does that mean I'm a dag? I love the fabrics in your quilt and I don't think it's dated at all. Certainly the design is mod and I love it. Hey, I think I even have some of them.....

I like it!!!

Fabulous work, keeps the oopsies out of the landfill and keeps someone warm at the same time. Besides I think you did a great job with the colors.

Thanks for the wonderful comments.. Im the one who uses everything.... and I follow the rule- if its ugly, its not cut small enough.. lol... but then again.. I love the 'uglies' .. lol..

I like your scrap pile a lot!
As to "dated," you are on the cutting edge of what is about to be massively fashionable. And I repeat that every time my silver hair and I pass a mirror or reflexive window. ;-) I am doing your "going through my scraps" trick and really enjoying it. Thanks for energizing me to stick to it. Keep warm, Pat |
Wow, you gave your orphan blocks a wonderful home, beautiful!
|
You did a great job putting those all together. I recognize most of the fabric!!

Looks well thought out. Very pretty
