I just finished this tablerunner last night. It will be a door prize for a retreat I'll be attending. It's a fun pattern and I like to make tablerunners for gifts.

wow!!! I love blues and yellows together!!! Seminole is so much fun to make. I am thinking of making two demin tote bags for Christmas gifts (yes that is right you read right.. I have already started my gifts for next Christmas). I want to make a seminole strip on each of them. Both will be different! Seminole is a great way to use up strips of fabric!! I have a good few of those too LOL

DebiJ: The pattern is one I got on the Internet SOMEWHERE! I checked the Internet to find the exact pattern address but couldn't find it without spending time I don't have right now but I did find:
http://members.aol.com/neadods/patch/seminole.htm which has the exact pattern as my runner. It just doesn't give you the measurements. When I sewed my 3 strips together they measured 1 3/4 inches. The finished square/diamond shape in the table runner ended up being 1 inch. Hope this helps. I think if you want to peruse the Internet you can check out SEMINOLE and you'll find a million and one patterns with the exact measurements and step by step directions. I worry about copyright rules so don't want to offer my pattern. Sorry. |
