Another Strawberry Lemonaid!

3 Attachment(s)
Just put together this lap quilt with half the blocks I got back from the Boom 18 swap. The Boom swappers really did an awesome job with the blocks they made for me! I sent out all fabrics from a collection of FQs I had won... and here's one of the results. Reminds me of strawberry lemonaid... or maybe a banana split!

Construction method was QAYG. Tute can be found here:

You got wonderful blocks back!

Second block from left on bottom row is a great example of use of a striped fabric. That's a real treat, well done!, to whomever made it!
Your choice of red sashing for the QAYG was just the ticket to pull it all together. Very nice!!

That's Kassaundra's block! She's a genius that way... amazing with stripes.

The sashing is actually deep pink, like in some of the prints. I know that's a computer thing, but there's no red in this one.

Yes it makes me think of lemonade, very nice.

What a fun project. I have not done a QAYG but yours turned out beautifully. Thanks for the link.

Those blocks certainly vary from the very simple to quite complex.

Reflective of the skill levels of the swappers in the Boom swap! All part of the fun. :o
