Another top finished
1 Attachment(s)
Up here in North Central PA, it's snowing. Again. So again, I've spent the morning sewing and got another UFO finished. I think it's #4 or 5 in line for me to quilt. The year of finishing UFO's is going well so far....How about you?

Very pretty quilt. I really like the borders....frames it beautifully!
Love your choice of border fabric and those pops of gold triangles in the design and the dots-on-white for contrast. Your points look really good. Nicely done!!!
Great quilt! Love the colors and the border fabric you chose was inspired :-)
I'm in Eastern PA and it has been one check of a winter, including a week with no power due to storm in early March. Thank God for generators! Not getting as much quilting done as you though. Bravo!
Wonderful quilt.... it is amazing how fabulous the simple blocks can be when put together!
Hugs Caroline |
Great quilt, you are doing well on your UFO's!!!
Wow, tha is really pretty! Love how the darks and lights complement each other, and the border is really striking!
Beautiful quilt and lovely mitered borders.
Beautiful top. Good for you to finish some UFOs.
Great triangle top!
Congrats on the great finish!
Oh how beautiful!!!
Good for you to finish all those UFOs. This one is a beauty. At first glance I thought it was framed. Wonderful border.
That is wonderful! I have wanted to do one of those for a long time. You did a great job.
I love this whole quilt. It is gorgeous.
Wonderful. BrendaK

Great quilt! I think our snow is finally over. Woke up yesterday to a snow covered yard but the sun came out and it melted. Turned in to a nice 51 degree day!!!
That's lovely. Good for you to get the UFOs done. Your work is very well done. I know about snow in PA as I grew up in NW PA. :-)
As for my UFOs, our guild has a challenge going where those who wanted wrote down six UFOs. Every other month a number is drawn and that's the quilt that needs to be finished in two months. So far, I have finished 3 and am ahead of the game. :-) That's more than I usually do, because I get distracted by placemats, totes, table runners, wall hangings, decorative towels...so much easier than a quilt! :-) |
Your chose the perfect mite red borders. Your piecing is wonderful also. Great job :)
Thank you all for the positive comments...this was my first attempt at triangles and it was a bit challenging at times. It was intended for a family member who is no longer with us, but my husband claimed it as his. Someone needs to invent a triangle without bias edges.....:D
Good job!!
Awesome quilt, you did a fabulous job on the entire thing!
That is so pretty!
I'm not doing so well on UFOs, but am getting some organizing done! |
