Another UFO - Matryoshkas

Just finished with the embroidery on the girls this morning. I am super proud of my FMQ on this. Still new to it and learning, but was super pleased this time (EXCEPT my SID).
Lying on the floor. Have not decided if this should be a wall hanging or a table runner, but I will likely add a flat sleeve so the person who winds up with it can choose. I am stockpiling Christmas presents and will decide later who gets what. Close up of the quilting. Each doll's empty space has the same, but progressively smaller. Smaller Face embroidery details. Each has a star tattoo and the baby is sleeping. On my desk attempting to get better light. These are all paper pieced. I bought the pattern from Etsy and it's called My Lil Matryoshka, the others were from my Carol Doak CD, and the overall pattern was a make up as I go. I must say when I saw the yellow floral material it screamed Matryoshka at me! Thanks for looking. Tracy |
