I love these and you are so lucky to have them and their history. They are all different from what gets made today - for the most part.
The blue one reminded me of the Hummingbird pattern quilt my Aunt made in 1935. Do you think the blue one is the hummingbird pattern?
I am going to visit my Aunt tomorrow in celebration of her 95th birthday on the 31st.

Beautiful. You are so fortunate to have these for sure. A lovely treasure and maybe some day they could be used in a museum. I love the last one with the pieced stars, what we do now!

What a beautiful quilt made by your aunt. It does look very similar although the dark patches are a single piece of fabric while your aunt's are pieced. Likewise, the circle patches are a single piece of fabric while your aunt's appears to be piece units (although that could just be the quilting that I's seeing in the photo). Thanks for telling me about the pattern, I'll mark it down in the family history that it is similar to a pattern known today as hummingbird. Thanks again.
