Your quilt is beautiful and I love your presentation idea as a gift! You'll be lucky if they don't have to sit down on it after you show them the label! Love it!

That is a beautiful quilt. What was the name of it?

Oh, that is such a beautiful quilt! What a nice thing to do for your neighbors!

That looks great! I was looking at that book (online) trying to decide if it was something I would like. Seeing your finished quilt really helps. What a treasure for your friends.

Thank you all for your gracious comments. |
Oh Lois, what a labor of love! How nice of you to make that for your friends. I can't even imagine keeping all that straight to make sure you don't have any twins...nice job. That's a cute way to surprise them too!

Orangeroom, I can't take credit for making sure each star was unique. The number of fabrics and the way the fabrics were cut into two different size blocks of just so many of each size made it impossible to make two stars alike. I did work hard to make each star combination "pretty" though.

It really is a beautiful quilt, they will love it. and if they don't send it to me. =)

It is a beauty! I did the same thing when I gave my neighbor and friend a quilt I made for her. I'm sure they are going to be blown away.
