Anvil Quilt for my Nephew
3 Attachment(s)
My nephew enjoys metalwork on his forge, so this seemed an appropriate block to use for his quilt. I wanted it to be bold and geometric (not fussy), so I did the top in only two fabrics. Anvil is a traditional block--the pattern can be found in many places including Quilter's Cache.

Great quilt and quilting. On my bucket list to do. Have 3 blacksmiths in my family - doubt I could get away with making just one.

I love these two colors together. So simple, yet so stunning! This quilt is sure to make your nephew happy.

Haven't been a fan of the anvil block by itself but in a quilt it is beautiful. Lovely job.

Wonderful quilt and great backing fabric...

It seems perfect to me. From your fabric choices, to the backing, to the binding, to the quilting. Very thoughtful! :D

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words.
