Any ideas as to what pattern this is?

I found this little dog block in my ideas file but have no idea where it's from. What I do know is it's darling & I'd love to make it. I'm guessing it's paper pieced. Does it ring any bells with anybody?

It's called Barking Dog and below is a link to a blog featuring a quilt top made with the pattern. Unfortunately no pattern source is given.

Oh, one of the replies says she was told the pattern was from Quilters' Newsletter.

Gives information about which Quilters' Newsletter had the pattern which here is called Yippity-Yap.
