I found this at a thrift store in town. I would love to recreate her and then make a quilt using the portrait in the middle of the blocks.
I can take apart the pattern and then make my own, but she's so pretty I was hoping to save her. It is made of suede pieces, but I'm sure it would work with other fabrics and applique them onto a block. Does anyone know if there is a pattern out there somewhere that matches her? Thanks! |
Here's my two cents. Lay tracing paper over her and drawn it out. You can then separte the pieces, fix what needs fixed. Then do a sample to see how it comes out.

My thoughts exactly bj :D

I also agree with BJ. That would make a great quilt!

That was my thought exactly! She is really cute--can't wait to see a quilt you make with her.

Xerox her and cut the pattern out. You can adjust the size then if you want.

This is my opinion, but maybe you could make a wall hanging. I would like it. Don-isewman1

i agree on tracing her. OR scan her large

Here's my two cents. I have seen some really cute fabric with postmarks and stamps on it. They look faded and I think that could be a cute background for her. She looks like a world traveler from the 1920s.
Can't wait to see what you come up with! |
