Can someone tell me what pattern this may be?
Someone in my community quilts group I am in, made it. I only quilted and bound it.

I'd like to know what pattern it is. If I ask who made it I have to wait a month until our next meeting to find out. Thought maybe someone here could tell me sooner.

Thanks.

When it is made with log cabin blocks I have seen it called Barn Raising.
Since this is still the diamonds around diamonds, just made with HSTs I think you could still call it the same pattern

That would be a Split 9 patch

Split 9 patch, and that layout might be called Perkiomen 9 patch?

sewnsewer2 04-24-2010 08:48 PM

Thanks everyone! It looks like the barn raising to me.

I call it very beautiful :D:D:D

I believe it is a split 9 patch, made up scrappy.

Lovely cheerful quilt. Sorry - I don't know the patterns name.

Some of the blocks don't line up correctly for a Split 9 patch. It looks more like a Jacob's Ladder/Road to Oklahoma scrappy or possibly a Disappearing 9 Patch with some scraps thrown in.

I have no idea what it is. BUT-you can give it to me. I really like the looks of that. Very interesting.

would you say it works like this?

Yes it looks like it. Thanks.

I really like that. I think I'll have to make one. :-) Thanks for posting to ask the name. :-) Hope you don't mean me making one.

Go for it! I didn't make it, one of the ladies in my group did. I like it too!
