Applique creation for classes
5 Attachment(s)
I thought I'd share the lap quilt I designed and stitched for a teaching sample. I was inspired by Audubon drawings I have in a 1800's coloring book. The 4 large blocks are hand applique but the 9 small blocks are from a fabric panel I found while shop hopping for Row-by-Row last year.
And, when I couldn't decide on the border fabric a friend suggested using the wrong side of the green fabric I used as sashing blocks. I loved the look. Lisa Burmann did the quilting for me. I hope you like it and thanks for looking. |
