This is another applique from the book Quilts In Bloom. The glass in the frame created a glare.

Ooooh! Soooo pretty! Just perfect for spring. What method did you use? Needleturn? I am just now doing my first official applique piece, so I am very interested in all things applique. Once again, sooo lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it is needle turn. I use the freezer paper method.

Yes, it is needle turn. I use the freezer paper method.

Thanks. Right now the only thing I have attempted is raw edge applique. I like the more "finished" look of needle turn, but don't know if I would have the patience. But obviously you do, and it is so pretty!
