Appliqued Fall Wreath Wall Hanging
1 Attachment(s)
This wall hanging applique was done using the Martha Nordstrand applique method. My preferred technique is needle turned. Learned her method in the class I took from her 4-5 (?) years ago up at Quilt Camp in the Pines, Flagstaff, AZ. - and then set it aside until earlier this month when I found it again. Finished the applique about 2 am on 8/17 and have it ready to sandwich, baste, and hand quilt.
I love fall colors and where I live now- just don't see them. The little robin is the Michigan (where I was born) state bird. Will try and remember to post another picture once it is finished. Thanks for looking! |
That is just wonderful. I am so glad you found it again.
