This is a beautiful quilt, I love the colors and the applique, i cannot see where you removed the applique, we are our worst critics.

That is just the cutest EVER!!!

Ladyjanedoe 08-08-2011 04:07 PM

I made a quilt with this pattern but I did not like the way the measurements did not account to leave enough to have crisp outter points. It drove me nuts because I kept thinking I had made some sort of error. Your motifs are adorable and the colors are fabulous. Glad you finished it.

Sure looks fabulous to me! I love your applique; they add such character to an already beautiful quilt. Thank you for sharing.

Very cute. Good save, sometimes you just have to walk away and start fresh. I really like how it turned out.

So this little booger sat in the closet for a few months. While cleaning I found it and decided to try and fix it. I had to cut out a section about 6" wide where the applique is now. If you look close you can see my seam. With all the trouble I opted for raw edge applique. Glad its finished, finally! Thanks for looking.

ADORABLE !!

Don't point out the booboos, they don't show (to me) and your quilt is wonderful. Lovely colors, nice work. Good for you having what it takes to finish it up. Good job!!

Love those colors together

Love this pattern. It looks relatively simple but I'll bet there's a hidden glitch somewhere. How difficult, really? Your colors are right on and so pretty together.

Making the binding the same color as the darker squares took away from the fact that the outer points weren't crisp and pointy. Would I make it again, NO!
