Scraps are like dust bunnies, they hide under the bed and multiply. They never go away. I have finally started depositing my printed lines scraps on the free table at Guild. My batik scraps I keep.

Love this quilt!!the more we cut the more scraps multiply.

Love this:)!! I think I'll do what JustFlyingIn said.....I've got strips in shoeboxes....a mess.....might as well throw them in a small laundry basket and dig out what you need. I might also get on this project this summer. Free quilts:)

Nice scrappy! It is great to have scrappy quilts around. I'm going to start one for the grandkids to drag around on the sofa.

I had and still have, a partial bolt of fabric that I now dislike so I used it for 6 inch blocks that I used as a foundation to sew the strips of fabric together on.....I still have lots more 6 inch blocks to go !!!!! |
Thanks for letting me know about the foundation. I've read that some use phone books. We very, very seldom get a real phone book. What do you use that you may have at home as a foundation?
TIA |
I love this layout. And I agree: do not hide them away in the closet; put them out where you can watch them.:D

The trick is to keep the male scraps and the female scraps separated!
