Scrappy quilts are so cheerful and fun! Great job!

That's a great quilt. Maybe the mystery of the never ending supply of scraps in our possession will never be answered. Personally I think they reproduce at night when we're not looking. LOL.

Love your scrappy - beautiful use of your scraps!

And yes, my scraps reproduce also = sometimes the result is a fabric scrap that I am sure I never bought the mother or father fabric for!

I really like that layout, it makes a beauty!

*** Erma Bombeck use to say,
*** "if you put 2 wire clothes hangers in an empty closet,
*** the next day they will fall all over you,
*** they multiply like rabbits."

*** I think it is the same with scraps.

Welcome to the world of "NEW MATH". Same thing happens here too! LOL! Love your scrap quilt though. Scrap quilts are my favorites!

The key word in your post would seem to be "logic". There is no logical explanation for the mathematics or biology when it comes to quilting. I am a fairly new quilter, have only made 6 or 7 quilts, yet I already have 2 containers full of scraps! This does not happen in any other artistic pursuit! Painters use up their paints, knitters, crocheters and needle pointers use up their yarn, potters use up their clay. I could go on, but you get my drift. :)

I like your scrappy, & yes, I think they multiply the more you use them "up".

Hi Ginger... I had 19 yards of fabric that i had ordered on line...it was backing fabric...used quite a bit of it for the christmas quilts......now i intensley dislike it...so cut it up into 6 inch foundation blocks...if i can not think of some more to use it on it may find it's self at the thrift store !....Patty
