I was playing around with my half square triangles. Made one block by facing all dark in one direction. I divided the whole quilt into 4. So 2 halves ..the dark will face each other and same with the other two.And where the darks meet that is a corner. You can bookmark the picture and break it down into pieces. That's what I do with some projects. I hope this helps.

I started with 2 1/2 inch strips. faced them together and sewed 1/4 inch on both sides. Then took square (3 or 4 in)ruler corner up...measured 1/4 in. to 1/4 in.Took piece of tape placed it on the bottom 1/4 in.on ruler. Then you can cut both sides of ruler. This was the first time doing it this way. So I think I need more practice because my points we off. I hope I explained this right :?

Beutiful quilt!! the ebroidery stitching was a nice touch abd the corners are unique - like that idea alot :thumbup:
