Art quilt show: Stitching it, My Way
 

I spend every morning with Quilting Board, but rarely post anything. So today I want to share some of what I have been doing. I am having a show of art quilting at a gallery for the month of June. Here are some of the pieces I will be showing. Thanks for looking.

Here are some more of the pieces I will be showing in June. The Rooster, Pear and feathers are stitched and then cut from the backing and replaced on the black. I have padded the rooster and pear so they are 3-D. The blue butterfly is my attempt at machine needle lace. It is not perfect, but a very fun and interesting technique. Thanks again for looking.

Very cool! They're all gorgeous, but I think I like the pear best, it looks so painterly with the green highlights.
