A quilter PM me and asked me to show some of my donated artwork.
Happy House was for Breast Cancer, Holly Hocks was for a fundraiser for a Cancer Wellness Center in Stamford CT in honor of my friend and Pink Ribbon and Barriers was donated for a raffle for Make a Wish Foundation. If I could figure out how to add more, I would have. Thanks for looking! These are wonderful!
I think the most intriguing thing about art quilts is that you'd never 'recognize' an "art quilter" just by looking at her. Some of the best I know are LOLs (little old ladies), not hippies, not 20s and 30s, not ritzy art collectors, but grammas who make chocolate chip cookies and live next door. Fascinating! Jan in VA |
