Asian Inspired Ladies

This was done as a wall hanging. I love the Asian panels you can get out there. I love this pattern, as you can take a fairly good size piece of fabric, and show case it like a picture in a frame. I top stitched around the ladies in the picture, then I drilled holes in chop sticks and mounted them - top and bottom. Then I added machine embroidered chinese symbols in two squares. That is a lovely wallhanging. I love the Asian fabrics too - such gorgeous prints and colors! You did a really nice job on this one. I especially like the chopsticks - a fun touch!

I love Asian pieces as well! Ingenious idea on using chopsticks!! Where did u get the symbols! shhhh don't tell anyone it's a Japanese panel with Chinese writting! I won't tell ! Lol. Love the border! I never think of things like that!!

Chinese writing was machine embroidered. Hubby blessed me with a Viking, so I can have fun embellishing my work.
