Attaching photo help
 

I am having trouble attaching a photo. It is a JPG file 2.64 MB which should fall within the parameters. However the upload keeps failing. Any ideas or help.

The size limit is for all attachments, your single attachment is too large.

I use this site to reduce my images, it is free, fast, and doesn't set off my virus scanners. Just drag your image to the box and use their default to reduce, and then to download!

I don't know why it says 5MB but it will only post if less than 2MB. My latest post about how to post pictures can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/8498492-post15.html

ETA I think that I have posted more than 5MB per post, but I'm not able to check right now. I know the individual images have to be less than 2MB and that there is a limit of five images to a post.

mainly remember to make the bottom bar scroll to the right so you can see and click on Upload. Otherwise, no size will get uploaded.

Maybe because you are a brand new member it limits it? I don't know what the rules are on that.
