Okay, I am a nitwit... what is fusible polyester fleece? Is this batting?

Fleece is denser then batting and you can buy it fusible or plain. I used plain cotton batting for the basket in the picture. For a stiffer basket I'm using Deco bond, a stiff interfacing used to give a crisp finish to fabric projects. I fuse it to the batting not the fabric because I find most fusibles cause the fabric to wrinkle. Use whatever batting you have on hand.

I have some of these made up in a Christmas Plaid fabric. I lived in Europe for about 4yrs & they use these to put bread rolls & a selection of different breads in on the table.
As Loretta mentioned too I have seen them used to put napkins in also.
