It`s a bit early, I know :) I found the pattern in an old quilting magazine and couldn't wait. And this is step one of my 2013 goal of using my fabric leftovers

Thank you all for your kind words!
As for the pattern, well, I found it in a german quilting mag. Also i was looking in the www, but for this runner there is no online tutorial avaible. I know it isn't a big help, but here is a link to that mag http://www.kunstundmarkt.com/artikel...n-04_2010.html |
Fabulous table runner & window topper's that you have created, with your fabric left over's. They couldn't be prettier & such nice work too!! You are an inspiration to all of us. Thank you for sharing your talents.

but posting the instructions would be a copyright violation |
Hey!
The parts in the middle are similar or the same like the french braid pattern, but more narrow than usual. As for the ends of the runner i still didn't find a tutorial. |
SWEET, sweet, sweet! The stripes make these above and beyond.
|
Both are lovely but I really like the table topper
|
very nice. I love pine comb fabric.
|
Very unusal! But great ! Thanks for sharing photo
|
I'll bet if we were given the width of the strips and the size of the center squares, we could figure it out. It is essentially a french braid in the center four pieces and a log cabin diamond on the ends. Would that infringe on the copywrite? I'm always facinated by using stripes. It's the placement of the stripes that makes this so interesting.

Those are really cute!
|
This is so great. Love it.
|
what an unusual pattern! can you share the pattern?

This is so pretty. I love to make valances for my windows for vaious holidays. It makes the house so cheery and these are great! I love the pattern.

Great use of stripes, which sometimes can be a pain in the neck
