Autumn Covered Bridge quilt
2 Attachment(s)
I just completed a quilt featuring panels of covered bridges in the fall. It reminds me of a vacation trip several years ago when we drove home through Indiana. The bridges and colored foliage were so pretty.

Wonderful fall quilt for your home and a reminder of your trip to Indiana. You would love the covered bridges here in New England as well.

I have this panel (and a houseful of covered bridges) and have been trying to decide how to piece it. Yours is beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Great quilt! Love the bridges and fall colors.

The Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County, IN is going on right now through Sunday, 20th Oct. We live close enough that we see so much traffic from it. It's truly unique and worth seeing. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

Very pretty quilt, the backing is perfect!

Really nice quilt. Love your color choices

I think I have figured out how you made those four blocks of squares. Looks really complicated, but is not that hard.

I just added matching sashing around each block to make them look more "finished" on the covered bridge quilt. The instructions for the block are here: https://conniekresin.com/2018/12/quilt-block-hidden-wells-in-batiks-tutorial.html?ck_subscriber_id=317493837 |
That sure is pretty. Great job. Love it!

How very pretty. I've never seen a real covered bridge in person but have always loved them. Thanks for sharing.
|
