Autumn Covered Bridge quilt

2 Attachment(s)
I just completed a quilt featuring panels of covered bridges in the fall. It reminds me of a vacation trip several years ago when we drove home through Indiana. The bridges and colored foliage were so pretty.

Wonderful fall quilt for your home and a reminder of your trip to Indiana. You would love the covered bridges here in New England as well.

I have this panel (and a houseful of covered bridges) and have been trying to decide how to piece it. Yours is beautiful, thanks for sharing.

The Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County, IN is going on right now through Sunday, 20th Oct. We live close enough that we see so much traffic from it. It's truly unique and worth seeing. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

I think I have figured out how you made those four blocks of squares. Looks really complicated, but is not that hard.

The two pink and two green blocks were actually a block called a Hidden Wells block. Very simple to make and a different way to use a jelly roll. I liked the block so much, I think I'll try making an entire quilt using this block.
I just added matching sashing around each block to make them look more "finished" on the covered bridge quilt.

The instructions for the block are here:
