Autumn garland banner and wood quilt
3 Attachment(s)
Finished putting together my autumn garland banner. I'm really pleased with how it all turned out. Each acorn is slightly different. I decided not to quilt them, but may eventually quilt them. I attached a little light strip to a piece of jute and then attached the acorns with teeny tiny clothespins. I'm thinking I'll make similar patchwork pieces for each season and change them out (thoughts on shapes to make for each season or month? I would love to have some creative ideas).
I also wanted to share my wood quilt (I didn't make it), I finally got it on the wall! We moved in, in April, but we are still working on so many projects here, but I'm excited things are starting to go up to make it feel more like home :) Thanks for looking :) |
You did a great job !

Very cute! I think a series of snowflake blocks would be nice and could go up for all winter.

Love your acorn banner. Really gets you into the spirit of fall-super cute!

I love the acorns. They are cute. I have an idea bouncing around for a series of 12 mug rugs with a theme for each month. You’re welcome to my list for your garland.

Your autumn banner looks great & that wooden quilt is so pretty on your beautiful, light colored wooden cabin walls. MicheleC came up with a good banner list for you. Looking forward to seeing what you do as time goes by.
