Aviatrix Medallion & New York Beauty - So fun to make!
4 Attachment(s)
The first quilt, Aviatrix Medallion by Elizabeth Hartman, was especially fun to make. I loved the variety of blocks, I never got bored making this quilt. This is the first quilt I have made using all solids. It was a nice change.
Next is New York Roundabout by Karen Neary. I bought the kit several years ago during a trip to New York with my daughter. I love it on my front door. I know the fabric will fade from the sun, but then I will just have to make another wallhanging for my door. It's great when the ducks return to our backyard pond each spring. Elise |

Both quilts are beautiful! I love the colors in them. You did an excellent job on both! I also love your back yard!

First one is fun. Love the wallhanging. BrendaK

Beautiful quilts! Glad to see there is a storm door to protect your beautiful wall hanging. If and when it fades might be a good opportunity to try Inktense pencils to re-color it.

Just gorgeous, all of it. Wish I could sit beside your pond for an hour or so! Is there a protective spray that will slow down the sun damage to your beautiful door hanging?
