Those ARE awesome. I especially like the green one. Did you buy all of those?

barnbum 03-28-2008 04:37 PM

Does anyone have the pattern for that awesome scrappy 9 patch? I have a few, just a few mind you, scraps I could use on one of those babies. :D

Oh I guess I could figure it out--I'm just too tired right now.

All the quilts are beautiful. I, too, like the scrappy nine patch. Thanks for posting them.

Barb M 03-28-2008 07:01 PM

lol no i didnt buy them, would love to though lol found them on an amish webstore for sale. The scrappy 9 patch looks easy. Take the 9 patch, and divide it into dark and light sections, just like a log cabin, and then two of the squares in the patch have triangles. Yeah, i love the green one, never seen fans done with a log cabin, got so high looking at those had to post them lol

Those are really pretty. If anyone would like the pattern for the Log Cabin and stars quilt, it is free on the McCall's website. Just go to Around the Block and then scroll down to Stars & Stripes Forever. Looks pretty easy.

Oh cool, thanks Kathy, i was wondering if that was how it was done :)
