Beautiful! My dear Mom and I used to quilt together. We had such fun shopping together, taking classes together and talking quilting. Now she is almost completely blind and hasn't been able to quilt for over a year. It's very hard for her. All she can do is listen to books on cd now.

The way it is pieced it appears the center is floating. Gorgeous!

That's because it's placed on a dark background. To me the borders seem to throb because of the same effect.
