I like B, 2nd option. Like someone else said, it coordinates the whole thing.

I think A is great

B is my vote.

B makes it appear deep and rich---has lots of depth with "B".

I like #2 best.

I would use all three borders. The plain brown to give it a little zip, the darker to lead into the Blue outer. Even if you just use a little accent border.
