I bought a piece of fabric a couple weeks ago that had two baby bibs on them. I want to make them and give them as a gift to my cousin and his wife who are expecting next month but don't know if the baby will be a boy or girl. Just wondering what would you do with them would you just sew them together and leave them plain or would you stipple them or sew some kind of design into them or do you think that would ruin it. Looking for ideas of how to finish them up. Thanks :)

I think I would do some kind of quilting. Maybe outline the different animals, ect. Very cute fabric.

Do a little quilting - otherwise they'll get waddy when they are washed.

How cute are those. They don't need much...I agree just a little quilting around some of the animals to hold them when washed. Love that fabric...where did you find it?

Me too. You don't want stitching to take away from the beautiful pictures.

The fabric is called Beary Bear Patch by Lisa McCue I got it when I went to a shop hop in a remnant basket. I found it on the web to show you what the pannel I bought looks like. I was going to cut the headboard pannel and diaper stack piece out and try to incorporate them into a quilt. Just wondering though would it be hard to make something with a round edge fit into a quilt with blocks?

Those are so cute. I would stipple them, but I love stippling so I do it every chance I get.

Love the fabric! I'd probably quilt them a bit.

I would make the usual quilt sandwich with battin and a solid backing and stitch around the animals. Could use either the stitch and turn method or quilt the put a binding around the bib. Good luck. On the rounded piece maybe you could applique it to a square piece at the rounded edges or square off the corners if you would not loose to much of the design.

I would put some soft pastel ricrac around them and leave them as they are... they are beautiful....

Very cute. Being that they will be washed a million times I would quilt on it. Just my thoughts.

Cute fabric! Maybe just quilt around the animals a bit.

That is adorable, I like them the way they are, what about making it fun and putting a squeaker in it, so they can squezze the animals nose?
