Baby Boy Quilt with FMQ

3 Attachment(s)
Here are a few pictures of the quilt I just finished. It's about 36 x 48 and FMQ'd. I didn't have an actual pattern, it's just coordinating fabrics done in the same style as the last little scrappy quilt I made ( http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...r-t176738.html ). I tried out some new-to-me FMQing motifs on this one and like the way it turned out. It's been washed and is ready to gift as soon as I add a personalized label, hence the crinkled look.

Enjoy!

I've been looking for a masculine style quilt that's not to distinct, for my brother, mind if i steal your pattern?

Of course I don't mind! This design is so adaptable... to make the quilt larger you can make more blocks, make the blocks larger, use more or less of the nine-patch blocks, do it "scrappy", literally anything you want. Have fun with it.

I think I spent around 4 hours on the quilting itself.

Janet,
That sounds like fun; we could shop Odegaard's (LQS) and JoAnn if you like! Do you stay up here in the summer or just come up to cool off? By the way, to pm me, just click on my screen name on the left and choose "Private Message".

I don't know where to find the pattern, but you really won't need one. It's just a 9 patch on point and I sure can see lots of variations.
