Baby Clothes quilt in progress. Need ideas!

1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone! Long time no read! LOL! I have been a busy bee last month working on this baby clothes quilt for a client. I have finally finished the top and have it loaded on my quilting machine. I am looking for ideas to fill in the blank squares. They are 4" squares and need a little something! I am filling in the pink areas around the squares with l's and e's and then the small flowered squares with a four petal flower. I am doing this free motion so any help would be appreciated!
The quilt is from this link: http://www.craftastical.com/2009/08/...rom-start.html The client gave me baby clothes from her daughter which I cut the squares from. I tried to save ruffles, pockets, embroideries and such from each of the pieces. I probably didn't charge enough but I sure did have fun making it:0
Thanks for looking!

it's really cute so far... reminds me of the 60's :)
i'd put outlines of baby animals in the plain squares

Oh, great idea! I wish I could do it free hand though. Not very good at drawing:(

If you have animal cookie cutters, you could trace them on the plain squares and then follow the lines.

Nice and great idea, the above quilt are looking very cute and lovely, i like it very much. It's a good thing to use the old clothes for making the new quilt. It's better to use some teddy bears or animal images for our children, then they enjoying a lot.
