Is it ok to give a royal blue/duck yellow quilt to a baby girl or does it shout "boy" too much?

It's cute, but if you want it more girly, you could applique flowers or something on it. I like the pattern!

if it's not finished yet and it really bothers you, then use a pink backing.
i happen to love it the way it is. if it's already done, simply embroider the child's name and date of birth in one corner in pink. on the back, embroider your name, date made, and place made, also in pink.

I like it but you could add some pink somewhere if it bothers you.

I think that adding flowers was a great suggestion.

It shouts "Happy" to me.

anglgrl 01-31-2010 08:42 PM

yes it looks happy, and I do like it that way. Pink might clash with the colors that you have

How about Eyelet lace around the edge. Can't get much girlier than that. I also like the pattern and the colors. :)

What a great idea! I think I would add white & yellow flowers plus the lace. JMHO :)

I love it.
