The nice thing about that personalized wall hanging is it will actually grow with the baby ... as he/she gets older, with that wall hanging always in her room, it will go with her everywhere and help her to remember:

What a blessing! I'll bet that wall hanging will go further than you can imagine in time ... (I say that being a person who still has the FIRST "Jesus Loves Me" glow in the dark wall plaque I got from SS for perfect attendance ... over fifty years! Can you see how versatile the wall hanging is compared to a quilt? I can see it in every home she ever lives in ... a very thoughtful gift.

My book arrived last week! And I was really happy to see that the designer of the book is one of my favorite children authors! I used a lot of her books when I taught Kindergarten!

I have a "Lilly" one to do before long... was really disappointed that they stuck that extra L in there! LOL
I am going to use fusible web applique on mine as they are wallhangings and won't have to be washed often.
