Baby quilt for co-worker
 

A co-worker of mine is having a baby in February so I made her this quilt. The colors in the photo are not totally true. They appear a little more dull in the photo's than in person. The background fabric is brighter sage green and the back fabric is dark brown. It is a fun quilt to make as it goes together fast. I quilted it with straight lines across horizontally. The pattern is called On the Boardwalk by Kimberly Jolly. Thanks for looking.

Wonderfully beautiful. It is gonna be fun for the mom when the little one starts to recognize and talk about the pictures in the fabric. Little granddaughter just started noticing little teeny animals and birds and people in a strip quilt received at the baby shower. I never realized until she started showing me and naming the things babies would actually look so closely; these are really tiny prints. Your quilt is gorgeous and will provide some fun, too. I like the pattern, too.
