Baby Quilt with Faux Fur Backing
 

I just finished this quilt my daughter asked me to make for her sister-in-law’s first baby. Her SIL lives in the Minnesota and she wanted the quilt to be soft and warm. She also wanted the quilt to reflect their love of the great outdoors.

It came out very nice. I am on my phone but best I can tell your piecing looks perfect. I can’t see the faux fur back good so will take another look tomorrow on my home computer.

Looks great! Your corners are mitered perfectly. Any faux fur sewing tips for the rest of us? I sew with newspaper between fur and feed dog. I also skip the batting. How about you?

You hit a home run on this one. Normally I am a traditionalist with baby quilts, though many in the younger set are all over the board, but LOVE your choice of the deer and its saying. It certainly fits the outdoor theme and looks warm and cuddly. Great job.
